Todd English P.U.B inside the Shops at CityCenter is one of those spots in Las Vegas that’s always hopping with energy. The restaurant has been open for four years and continues to grow in popularity. With seating for at least 200 guests, the staff aims to quickly and efficiently accommodate everyone walking through the doors, from large parties to those seeking an intimate bite for two.

General Manager John Lantana works with Chef Todd English to create spaces that are fun and interactive; a place to relax and unwind after a whirlwind tour of the Strip or a late night show with fun and friendly games such as beer pong and darts.

With at least 44 drafts and 80 bottles to choose from, chances are good your visit will be accompanied by some of the best craft beer in the world. Servers and bartenders are enrolled in Cicerone classes to help offer suggestions and some education as you enjoy your selection – either as a taste, by the glass or part of a flight. The beer list changes daily.

There are also vintage cocktails as well as an outstanding whiskey and bourbon menu. Of course, don’t forget the food. The menu crafted by the proprietor and four time James Beard award winner will have you coming back again and again.

The carvery offers a selection of rotisserie-cooked meats such as prime beef and roasted chicken that can be piled on a sandwich made for a king. One of the best burgers that we tried on our visit was the 10 ounce Buffalo Burger, cooked medium rare. With juices dripping down your chin, the twang of blue cheese and a little heat from Todd’s own hot sauce will leave a major impact on your taste buds. Both choices are perfect with the Lobster Rolls slathered in warm butter.

Sundays just got a whole lot better with the brunch offerings at Todd English P.U.B. The outrageous Bloody Mary cocktails come with a level of creativity that you must experience to believe as Todd’s “Farm Girls” make them to-order tableside. The All About Mary is actually a meal disguised as a drink with garnish that includes a bacon cheeseburger slider, chicken wing, mini corn dog and shrimp as well as asparagus, celery and olives. Go ahead and take that selfie so you can show off the dazzling drink to all your peeps back home in Iowa.

Tired of paying the piper for a cocktail on the Strip? You can now indulge in one of the best happy hours in town. It arrives twice a day; from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. or from 10 p.m. to midnight. Stop by for the half-price pints of beer and wine by the glass as well as $1 wings, $2 Oysters and $3 Sliders.

Locals and visitors may want to make this a mandatory stop on their Vegas agenda. Executive Chef John Paul-Labadie works closely with English to bring only the best quality food to the customer while remaining true to the chef’s moniker for excellence.

Todd English P.U.B. is the second location in Vegas for the world renowned chef, following Olives at the Bellagio.
