The Liquid Facelift
Liquid Facelift is a new technique that comes with the promise of reversing years of aging with no surgery and minimal to no downtime. This procedure treats those dark circles, bags, and the hollows under the
eyes and restores volume in crucial areas of the face, including cheeks, temples, around the mouth and jaw lines.
The result is whole-face rejuvenation with a natural look.
One of the hallmarks of the aging process is volume loss throughout the face, which often leads to skin sagging and various lines and folds. Traditionally, this condition used to be treated with a surgical facelift, during which a surgeon attempts to “pull” the skin and smooth out the lines and folds.
What is not addressed by this procedure is the underlying issue of volume loss, making the results less than ideal despite enormous costs, risks, and downtime. Liquid Facelift is a nonsurgical alternative which directly targets volume loss. The procedure involves filler injection in carefully selected
areas on the face with a MicroCannula, a flexible needle with a blunt end that slides effortlessly under the skin without piercing and damaging tissues. Depending on the area of the injection, the filler can reduce the appearance of dark circles and bags under the eyes by restoring volume and smoothing out the hollowness. Liquid Facelift also revitalizes the volume loss in cheeks, lifting them to smooth out lines and folds across the face, or restore sunken and collapsed temples to make them look more youthful and refreshed without surgery.
Quite often, some Botox injection is also injected as part of the Liquid Facelift to smooth out lines and wrinkles further. Because the areas of the face that will be injected are sensitive,
this procedure must be done by a highly experienced and skilled physician. At Amoderm, all filler treatments are done exclusively by Dr. Elham Jafari, who is a board-certified physician and a globally-recognized expert in nonsurgical cosmetic surgery, including Liquid Facelift. Dr. Jafari often
uses a customized combination of FDA-approved fillers such as Juvederm, Restylane, Belotero, Radiesse, Sculptra, Bellafill, Volbella, and Voluma for injection in various areas of the face. For each region, the best filler is carefully selected to achieve the desired volumizing effect and lift.
The results will typically appear immediately and last from several months up to years, depending on the product used. Individual results may vary.

Since there is a low level of discomfort for the procedure for most patients a topical numbing is sufficient as opposed to anesthesia that is required for a surgical facelift. The treatment session typically takes around 40 to 60 minutes, and most patients can resume routine activity right away. Some swelling or bruising is common and expected to fully resolve quickly within two weeks. While the treatment results tend to appear immediately and may last for years depending on the fillers used, as aging is a continuous process, occasional follow-up visits and touch ups might be needed for best results. Establishing an on-going and long-term partnership with the physician you know and trust, who also knows you, your skin and your desired results is the best way to ensure satisfying results.
Given its highly individualized approach that varies from patient to patient, the cost of this procedure can also vary from as low as $565 all the way to $5,000. The exact cost is determined during a professional consultation based on the recommended type and dose of fillers.

FAQ:
What age groups typically get this procedure done?
All ages but our typical patients are in their late 30s through 60s.
Are there any prescriptions or instructions to follow afterward such as staying out of the sun and keep sunglasses on for a certain amount of time or use specific products like oil on your skin to heal?
Post-treatment instructions are given to the patients. There is usually no restriction on routine activity, but strenuous activities/sports should be avoided for 2-3 days. Patients should be prepared for possible “social downtime” (e.g., having some swelling or bruising) during the first two weeks.
Do men get this procedure done as well?
Yes, all the time.
Do any celebrities get this procedure done?
Certainly, they do. Anyone who is getting fillers for under eyes or cheeks or temples or jawlines, etc. can be said to be undergoing a Liquid Facelift. I am not sure if they refer to it with the exact term, but it’s the same thing.
