Are there any prescriptions or instructions to follow afterward such as staying out of the sun and keep sunglasses on for a certain amount of time or use specific products like oil on your skin to heal?
Post-treatment instructions are given to the patients. There is usually no restriction on routine activity, but strenuous activities/sports should be avoided for 2-3 days. Patients should be prepared for possible “social downtime” (e.g., having some swelling or bruising) during the first two weeks.
Do men get this procedure done as well?
Yes, all the time.
